A personal approach to language, culture and connection.

Prestige Talk was created from a shared belief that the most meaningful way to develop a language is to live it — through conversation, culture, shared experiences and genuine human connection.

We are Chantal and Ren, two experienced educators with a passion for language, Scotland and creating learning experiences that feel personal rather than prescribed.

Chantal, brings together a background in business and more than fifteen years in education. A former business owner, she holds a Business degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Glasgow and the internationally recognised CELTA qualification for teaching English. Her career has centred around languages, being tri-lingual, communication and helping people develop the confidence to express themselves. In her free time she loves spending time outdoors with her three dogs and family. She loves walking, paddle boarding and wild camping in the Landrover. Her favourite place has to be Clachtoll Beach, in the Highlands or with family in Bormes Les Mimosas, if she is seeking sunnier climbs!

Ren, our Italian Learning Experience Curator, brings decades of life experience and many years of English tuition to Prestige Talk. His love of Scottish heritage, sailing and culture shapes many of the conversations and experiences our guests encounter throughout their stay. Warm, knowledgeable and naturally curious, Ren believes that some of the best learning happens when people simply have the time and confidence to talk.

Together, we wanted to create something different.

Prestige Talk is intentionally small and personal. We genuinely care about both the learning and the experience — from the conversations around the dinner table to individual language coaching and the places our guests discover along the way.

This isn’t about recreating a classroom in beautiful surroundings. It is about creating an environment where English becomes part of everyday life: spoken naturally, developed thoughtfully and experienced through Scotland itself.
